Co-founded Claritas in 2010 after a career across multinational firms in Tanzania and East Africa. Leads the firm's tax practice and signs audit opinions for parastatals, insurance companies and large privately-held groups.
Admitted to the partnership in 2018. Leads the day-to-day Tax practice across compliance, advisory, transfer pricing and TRA defence. Represents Claritas clients at the Tax Revenue Appeals Board.
Joined Claritas in 2023 to lead Claritas International Consulting Limited. Deep experience in financial advisory, transaction services and capacity building; works most closely with healthcare, energy and donor-funded NGO sectors.
The Arusha and Moshi offices, opened in 2018, are led by partners with deep roots in northern Tanzania's tourism, agriculture and education sectors. Coverage extends from hospitality through to higher-education engagements.
Admitted to the partnership in 2018, Irene led financial-services engagements for Claritas with the same exacting standard the firm was founded on. She is remembered by partners and colleagues across the firm, and by the institutions whose audit committees she served, as someone whose judgment shaped how engagements were run, not just signed.
